Daniel Chaves is a professional runner from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with more than 20 years of experience practicing and coaching in the sport. He recently ran in the men's marathon event at the Olympic Games in Tokio held earlier in 2021, representing his birth country of Brazil.

 

Through the years, he has trained and worked with some of the world’s fastest runners in Europe, Africa and the United States. With extensive experience in road racing, Daniel has competed in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East, gaining worldwide attention from sports brands who currently sponsor him.

 

Daniel is passionate about running, and looks forward to share his extensive knowledge and experience with the athletes at My Olympic Coach.
