ANDREA GILMOND
SPORTS NUTRITIONIST
Andrea Gilmond is a sports nutritionist and dietitian with a Master Science degree in Training and Sports Nutrition who also completed the IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition, one of the most known programs in the world.
Andrea is very passionate about sports nutrition and fascinated about the way in which eating patterns and food choices influence performance and the health of athletes. She believes that providing a personalised approach, implementing little changes to the daily diet and to training/competition nutrition strategies would have a positive impact on performance, diminish the risk of injuries and preserve the athlete’s health. She has been working with athletes for the last 6 years and she is currently the performance nutritionist of a Venezuelan professional football club (Mineros de Guayana FC), and a Gatorade Sports Science Institute advisor from Venezuela.
In addition, she enjoys running and completed her first marathon in 2019 (Berlin). She is now a mother, but dreams of doing her first triathlon very soon.
